Our Refund Philosophy

At DEUS INFINITUM, we want every user to feel the power of creating a living pantheon. If our service doesn't meet your expectations, we want to make it right. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both you and us.

We offer a 7-day refund window for new subscriptions. If you subscribed and haven't made extensive use of the service, you're entitled to a full refund — no questions asked.

For issues beyond the 7-day window, we evaluate each case individually. Our priority is your satisfaction. Email us and we'll work with you.

SECTION 01

Subscription Refunds

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All new paid subscriptions (High Priest, Divine Council, Enterprise) are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge, provided:

  • You have consumed fewer than 10 God Tokens during this period
  • This is your first subscription (not a re-subscription after a previous refund)
  • Your request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the charge date

Renewals

Monthly renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun. However, we will issue refunds for renewal charges if:

  • You contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge
  • You had intended to cancel before renewal but faced a technical issue
  • The charge was made in error

Annual Plans

If annual plans are available, a prorated refund will be issued for the unused months, minus any promotional discount applied.

Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does NOT automatically trigger a refund. To request a refund, you must email us separately.

SECTION 03

Technical Failure Refunds

If our service fails to deliver what you paid for due to a technical error on our side, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of when the payment was made. Examples include:

  • A god summoning failed and consumed your token but produced no result
  • Your subscription tier did not activate after a successful payment
  • You were double-charged due to a payment processing error
  • A critical feature you paid for was unavailable for more than 24 hours
  • Your data was lost due to a server error on our side

In these cases, please email support@deus-infinitum.com with your account email and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 24 hours.

SECTION 04

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind after extensive use of the service (more than 10 tokens consumed)
  • Dissatisfaction with AI output quality — AI generation is inherently variable. We do not guarantee specific creative outputs.
  • Requests made after 7 days of the charge (except technical failures)
  • Account terminations due to Terms of Service violations
  • Free tier tokens — these have no monetary value
  • Promotional or discounted subscriptions that explicitly stated no-refund conditions
  • Partial months after cancellation — you retain access until the billing period ends
SECTION 05

How to Request a Refund

The refund process is simple and we aim to resolve all requests within 5 business days.

Subject line: "Refund Request — [your email]". Include your account email, the amount charged, the date of charge, and the reason for your request.

We review your request
Our team reviews your request within 1-2 business days. We may ask for additional information such as your order ID or payment confirmation.

We confirm and process
If approved, we initiate the refund through the original payment method (Stripe or Razorpay). You'll receive a confirmation email.

Refund arrives in your account
Stripe refunds: 5-10 business days. Razorpay/UPI refunds: 3-7 business days. Bank transfer times vary by institution.
Please include your payment confirmation email or transaction ID in your refund request. This speeds up the process significantly.
SECTION 06

Enterprise & Custom Plans

Enterprise plans are subject to individual contract terms agreed at the time of purchase. If no specific refund terms were included in your enterprise agreement, the standard 7-day refund policy applies to the first month's payment.

SECTION 07

Indian Consumer Rights

For Indian users, this refund policy is designed to comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable e-commerce regulations. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may also:

  • File a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (1915)
  • Use the Consumer Courts as per the Consumer Protection Act
  • Contact us first at ai@deus-infinitum.com — we prefer to resolve disputes directly
SECTION 08

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

For subscriptions active at the time of a policy change, the policy in effect at the time of your original purchase applies for that billing period.
